Can't determine deploy mechanism

Hi,

I am not able to deploy ears from NWDS. I am getting below error message. I have already registered the system and set it to default. Even then i am getting below error message. Ther server is already up.

To register the system i navigated to Window->preferences->SAP AS Java->Entered Instance host and instance number->Register SAP Instance->Select SAP system->check the default system checkbox.

"Can't determine deploy mechanism"

"Please check if there is a correct default system specified in SAP System Registry preference page and if this SAP System is currently up and running "

Hi Deepika,

it happened to me a couple times, what i did is Stop the Server instance and shutdown the system. and restart the systemand start the server instance again. in NWDS, remove the SAP Server instance and register it again.

Hi,

This has happened to me a couple of times. U can try to deselect and then again select the default server. Sometimes closing down the NWDS and reopening it also helps.
