Undeploy a web service from the J2EE Server

Hi I am using SAP Web Application Server 6.40. I created a web service and deployed it while in the Netweaver environment.

How do I undeploy web services from the J2EE Container? It would be nice if it could be done in Netweaver, the SAP Web Administrator, or in the web portal interface to the J2EE Engine, but I can't find any options. Also it seems many help files regarding "undeploy" are missing in Netweaver Help.

Hi Joel,

you can undeploy your web service app using the Visual Administrator of the J2EE Engine. You start it using the go.bat located in <drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\<InstanceName>\j2ee\admin directory.

Log on to the engine, go to Server -> Services -> Deploy.

In the Runtime tab click the Applications checkbox to have all deployed applications listed on the screen. Select the one you want to remove and choose Remove button.

Excellent, thank you very much!

Any chance of there being a help file available for this admin program? When I hit the F1 key I get the response "Help files not available."
