Hi,

What are the functions of

Non valuated stock

Valuated stock

valuated stock - when the postings is done through good movement, it triggers the stock account in FI ...i.e. the quantity and value gets updated once the FI postings are done.

non-valuated stock - only the quantity are updated and the values will only be updated after settlement.

Valuated project stock

Project stock for which each material in the stock is always managed quantity-based and value-based.Each material quantity is valuated with monetary valuation.All goods movements for the project stock lead to corresponding postings to G/L accounts in Accounting.

Nonvaluated project stock

Project stock for which each material in the stock is only managed quantity-based and is not valuated with monetary valuation.For external procurement, the corresponding is entered as an expense in Accounting immediately.Further goods movements for the project stock occur nonvaluated and do not lead to corresponding postings in Accounting.You normally determine the value of the project stock summarized via the results analysis at the end of the period and transfer the value to Accounting by means of the settlement of the accrued values.

Dear,

In valuated project stock the materials are managed on both a quantity

basis and a value basis; all goods movements trigger corresponding

postings in the stock accounts in Financial Accounting.

But in non valuated stock only quantity is flow.

A Valulated and a non-valuated report are ones with and without values.
