Transport workflow

Hi all,

My requirement is to create a workflow that would send notification mail to manager(s) once the TR is imported into production via STMS. I found that there is a standard template dealing with transport workflow, but it uses the transport proposal which is not my company's practice(and we don't intend to use such transport proposal approach).

And I found that there is only one transport-related business object (CTPROPOSAL) which is also assoicated with transport proposal.

Is it feasible to create a customized business object/workflow to fulfill my requirement?

Have you learned any approaches to this problem? Craig Welch, craig_welch at bradycorp.com, had developed a workflow enhancement to STMS - perhaps he can help.
