Packing List Output

Hello SD Gurus,

We have an output type ZL00(Packing List) and it is triggered from delivery document and in VV21 we have maintained the output records for Shipping Point and Medium as 1 & Time as 3 Send with application own transaction. Idea is to trigger this output once shipment end button is clicked so that after completion of Shipment document output gets triggered automatically from Delivery document. But we are not able to trigger the same automatically.But at the same time the same output being used by other plant are able to trigger the same output automatically with the same settings.

Can you please help me in solving this.

Hi,

You have mentioned the output time as 3. Is it same to the other plant also?

If same, then check the program assigned to the output which may have plant value restrictions.

Also check in the output master records (VV22), where you define the printer name, the print immediately box is checked.

Hello Friend,

Thanks for the reply and for other plants also it VV21 time is maintained as 3 and in Print immediately check is ticked. As this output type is being used by multiple plants in the program there are no plant value restrictions.

Hi,

Check whether the spool has been created by the output in t.code SP01 after inputting the printer name. If spool is generated by did not print, then check the printer connections and printer status.

You can also check the status of the output in NAST table. (in T.code SE16).

Hello Friend,

No need to go for SP01 as in the output it self the process status shows 0- Not Processed.

Hi,

Then do the analysis in the delivery itself.

Go to the menu Extras -> delivery output -> header. Highlight the output and click on the Determin. analysis button provided at the top.

In the analysis, select the output type and find the reason on why the output has not been created.
