SAP Netweaver 7.0 EHP 1 upgrade in Windows

Hi,

During the upgrade my shadow instance is not starting. I was looking at the syslog from the mmc console for the shadow instance, the disp+work is not starting because of ORA 01017 invalid username/password. I do not know which user the dispatcher is trying to connect to the database. I checked the password for SAP(SCHEMA id) AND SYSTEM. they work fine in the original system. Also pasting the snippet from the upgrade logs:

Also attaching the logs devtrace, and STARTSF1. Devtrace.log says u201CDpSysAdmExtCreate: ABAP is active DpSysAdmExtCreate: VMC (JAVA VM in WP) is not activeu201D..

STARTSFI.log says u201C2WETQ372 test RFC failed, rc="-1"

2EETQ399 Starting shadow instance failed

Hi , the error posted by you does not show anything . it just says that SAP system is not started .

What i understand , is that your problem should be close to what is described in Note 400241 - Problems with ops$ or sapr3 connect to Oracle.
