Problem with implementation of collaboration rooms

I've got the following problem:

I've created personal roles and pages, and assigned this to a new user (only this roles). Here we've got all OK, I have a personal site portal-based and my respective role tabs...

the problem is when I create a collaboration room: the user needs superadmin role to can access the room that I, like super administrator have created, because otherwise when the user enters to the room, the left side of the room list falls and generates a java exception, witch says it can't create the IView whit the detail of component Null.

I've tried whit all other roles apart, and the only that lets me enter the room without fall is superadmin.

Maybe I need assign to the final user other role moreover than collaboration? or am I doing something wrong?

HI,

Add the following role to the room user

Role ID:

pcd:portal_content/specialist/Collaboration/com.sap.netweaver.coll.Collaboration

Thanks, I think there's a collaboration role that isn't installed... I'm going to try it.

Hi Daniel,

Have you solved the issue? if not then u can also check the permission access of the users for the standard folder under content admin-portal content-com.sap.ip.collaboration folder and content provided by sap-collaboration folder.

enable the end user link also. this was how i solved when i had a similar issue.

The following portal roles are needed:

<b>com.sap.portal.content_admin_role</b>(Content Administration)- This is for access to Portal Content Catalog

<b>com.sap.netweaver.coll.Collaboration</b>(Collaboration)-To access Room directory,the access point to all rooms

<b>com.sap.netweaver.coll.Collaboration.Administration</b>(Collaboration Administration)- This is for creation and maintenance of room templates

<b>com.sap.netweaver.coll.CollaborationRoomCreation</b>(Room Creation)- For creation of coll rooms
