Hi,
we have PI 7.1 with local CCMS for monitoring.
Can anyone tell me if its possible to send an email when the idoc adapter receiver adapter fails to send a message to ECC ?
Any documentation on this ? Can this be done without using a BPM ?
Thanks.
Hi Thierry,
If you configure CCMS on PI system, then all the errors you get on integration server and adapter engine and the queue errors will be received in emails.
Please check few blogs on CCMS here:

The solution to my problem is to create an
alert in the alert framework (Runtime workbench) alert configuration.
Then you can associate this alert with IDOC interface in the rule.
After , you configure the email sending in the alert definition in the transaction alrtcatdef.
