Connecting Cognos Planning applications to SAP BW

Hi,

I am trying to extract data out of Cognos Planning application and make it available for real time reporting in BW (remote cubes is one possibility). This will be on BW3.5 and we will be using UD Connect. Do any of you know if there are any JDBC/ODBO connectors to connect to Cognos planning application? Any insight into connecting cognos planning application as a datasource to SAP BW will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I am not sure if specific connectors exists, usually it is the other way, acess BW data from Cognos...

As an example, we connect to our Cognos system via DBConnect and read/get data from/into BW accessing their RDBMS. This means access tables and translate the application logic...

I guess UDConnect would do pretty much the same and don't know about connectors of this kind.

How to extract the data from Cognos system. we have 40 cubes I would like to extract the data into SAP BI 7.0 could you please provide me step by step instructions. I would appreciate.
