The book: "SAP NetWeaver Process Integration for Developers" is now available in the 2nd edition.
The english edition is currently in progress. The german is available since august 2009.
The second edition of this book focus on SAP NetWeaver Process Integration Release 7.1 and provides some good examples to work with the different adapters, provided by SAP PI. You also get a good overview of the SAP PI 7.1 architecture as well as an detailed view on ccBPM and the concepts.
The book is a good synergy between theory and practice - theory in terms of its structured approach and didactic presentation of a complex topic; and practice in that it analyzes part of a piece of enterprise software that has become indispensable for most enterprises worldwide.
The book invites the reader to explore new concepts by means of comprehensive examples. the focus is on practical issues in the areas of application of SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (SAP PI) 7.1, while the relevant underlying theory is explained to the degree that is necessary for the reader to understand the exercises.
