Sold to party cannot be changed

Hi ,

We are created a sale order.When i go to change the sold to party in header data,sold to party field is greyed out.We are not created a delivery and billing just created a sale order only.Where we check?

HI

You want to change a part of Sold to party or entire sold to party? If you want to change like name, address etc that you can do at header level.

Double click on sold to party and edit.

Simple thing, if you want to change the sold to party , delete that order and create another order. SP can not be changed once the sales order is saved.

hello, friend.

please check if there is a subsequent transaction such as a delivery of billing document. normally, changes to the sold-to party (assuming modifiable) is possible if there is no subsequent transaction.

also check if there is a user-exit preventing such a change.

try to do fields sold-to paty as editable thorugh transaction variant for VA02 and then change the sold to party in the sales order at header level.

Actually, once sales order is saved, u can't change the sold to party which is in greyed mode.

Hi,

Once your sold to party is determined in the sales order then you wont be able to change the sold to party.

You have to delete your sales order and create the new one.

It doesnu2019t matter whether you have created the delivery or not.

You wont be able to change.

Hi,

As a standard Sold to party will remain grayed out and if you want it to be editable then ask the developer to write a logic in program MV45AFZZ for that screen and field.

Hi Murugu,

Check the Set Up Partner Determination setting in the SPRO... here you have to check Not modifiable Tick whether that tick is marked or not.
