IR Object file transport

Hello,

I need help in transporting ir object file from prod to dev.

I exported ir objects in prod and I copy the file from prod to dev.

And I imported it in dev.

and i got successful message.

but ir Objects remain unchanged in dev.

Nothing changed.

Object ID in dev and prod is same.

Somebody help me please?

i deleted software component in IR. (dev)

and i imported software component from sld and i imported the file again.

and I finally succeeded in it.

Dev had been shut down. so i had modified Prod unavoidably.

i wanted to copy objects from prod to dev

Hey,

Usuall the Transport is done from Dev..QA , Dev to Prod, Not in reverse manner, If you wann to do the necessary settings need to be done between the Prod & Dev system

Hi,

It should be not the case for File transport , as the file transport should treated as transport from any server to any server (there is no domain controler as in case of CTS)

please check your objects , try to transport single object , check your change list - if you can see any entry there ?

Hi,

IR objects should be ok. But how about ID objects like business system, we do the transport targets in sld according to this. But if we move from prod to dev how about them. They may not change automatically.

Backward transportation is not possible in xi or pi.
