UoM issue

Hi Gurus,

I created a unit of measure in ECC and a similar unit of measure in SRM. They are both linked to an ISO code also.

Now when i try to create a shopping cart (in the production system) using describe requirement, it is making the price disappear.

I did the above changes in both Dev and Quality systemsand it works fine. Now when the transports were imported to productionthis error is coming up.

Can anyone throw light on why this happening only in the production system?

Plz plz help!

Thanks

Trey

Hi

What changes you made?

in describe requirement

price - we manually enter the price and currency

and enter quantity and select UOM as per our demand right.

Hi Muthu,

Thanks for checking. Yes, once we manually put the price inand press 'continue'...in the next page the price disappears.Even if i tryit does not take any value.

Here is what i have done:

Created a UoM in ECC and assigned it to a ISO UoM.

Deleted one UoM in SRM and created a new one in its place and assigned it to the ISO UoMsame as ECC. The deleted UoM exists in ECC...but i am not going to replicateso no issues.

The data between ECC and SRM is exactly same.It works in Dev and Qlty--this problem is occuring in Production only.

Is this because i did not replicate but created UoM's manually?

My point being--as long as they are the same, it should not matter. It is happening to only this newly created UoM.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Hi

Uom is entry is in many tables .

since it is a customised UOM , you would need to bring from ECC system. I believe.

For ISO codes synchronisation, you can go to transaction CUNI -> ISO and then select "utilities" -> "adjustment".

COMM_PR_UNIT - this table has a backend system where UOM has come..

T006 Units of Measurement

T006_OIB Units of Measurement, Additional Definitio

T006A Assign Internal to Language-Dependent Unit

T006B Assignment of commercial to internal unit

T006C Assignment of external technical to intern

T006D Dimensions

T006D_OIB Add-On Extension for Dimensions

T006E System for Units of Measurement (Component

T006EE Systems for Units of Measurement (Entities

T006ET Systems for Units of Measurement (Entities

T006I ISO codes for units of measurement

T006J ISO Codes for Unit of Measure Texts

T006T Dimension Texts

I have checked all the these above UOM tables but no guids..

how did you create UOM in SRM? this data is a global master data must be synchronised in both system.

i believe you can use r3ar2 for delta request bring your customised UOM from ECC system.
