Fixed Consumption in PPM

Hi,

I have a requirement that the start quantity for the input component is a fixed quantity.

How can I define a fixed quantity for input component for a PPM?

eg. Output Component is O1 and input is I1.

demand for output component O1 is 100.

the fixed quantity for input component I1 30.

1 EA of input gives 1 EA of output O1.

so when planning takes place req for 100 EA of input I1 will be generated, but the starts quantity can be only 30 EA or multiples of 30 as my fixed quantity for input component is 30 EA.

So 120 input component will be used and 120 output comp will be generated.

Can this be achieved using Fixed consumption in PPM or is their any other method.

Thanks & regards,

Sanjog

Lot for Lt with rounding quantity might help. Let me know if this does not help. For your example use the rounding value of 30.

To me , it looks like having a fixed lot size for input component as 30 should solve the issue. I think you might have tried this already, if yes i want to know what happened.

we do not want to create multiple lots, we want a round value kind of restriction where it will generate input requirement only in multiples of the the quantity defined for the input component.
