Please let me know the sales return process linked to QM and necessary configuration and testing in QM side

sales return process linked to QM and necessary configuration and testing in QM side

Inspection type 06 is used for sales return scenario in QM.

In customization

Qcc3>Inspection lot creation>Goods mvt-->make sure that 06 inspection origin has been maintained against 651 mvt type.

also here only Inspection for shipping against the RE(return order maintain 06 inspection lot origin.

Now when Return sales order is created & outbound delivery takes place(VL01n)-->Inspection lot of 06 is created after picking.

After you clear this lot then only PGI will happen.
