Hi Fellow Sappers!
We are attempting to implement SAP GUI 7.10 Patch 9 and while we can get the software onto the PC and logon to ECC, we receive a Message_Type_X message whne entering some, but not all, transactions. We suspect the software is corrpt in some way but I wondered if any one could pass on specific advice and ideas.
The transactions in which it dumps include PA20 and ST03N whereas SM66 or FB1N are OK.
Thanks
Des
No, this issue is not related to a certain Patch (by the way: Patch 11 was current last year ).
Also the notes are not relevant here...
Kind regards,
Martin

After installing SAPgui 710, try to patch it to latest patch level. I guess, currently it is 11

Hello Des,
it seems, that the installation /registration of a control (*.OCX file) didn't work and hence you get this dump.
Maybe you can reinstall again? Otherwise you need to make a Frontend Trace with Automation to see, which control fails to initialize...
Hope this helps, otherwise please open a customer message on BC-FES-GUI
Kind regards,
Martin
