Importing values to qualifier fields

Hello,

I am new to MDM. I have Currency table which is flat look up table on one main table and ConverionsValue(Currency, Value in Rupees) table which is qualifier table.

Now, I need to import the values from excel sheet to populate non-qualifier Currency table as well as to ConverionsValue table which is qualifier table.

I have imported values into non-qualifier Currency fileds, but I am not able to fins a way to import values into qualifier table from excel sheet.

Can u please guide me on the steps I need to follow.

Hi Sameer,

after importing the non-qualifiers ,pls follow the below steps:

1) Put the non qualifiers and qualifiers in one excel sheet or u can use "join" option to import.

2)When non qualifiers fields are mapped,make sure map all the field values also. Then right click on any of the non-qualifiers and create a compound field.

3)The compound field would be auto mapped to corresponding main table field. Now map all the values for that.

QLT is imported now.
