Whenever I try to add a new datafile for one of my tablespaces following message occurs:
'e:\oracle\drp\sapdata12\btabi_28\btabi.data28' does not follow SAP conventions. Path neither like '<d>:\oracle\DRP\sapdata<n>\ ...' nor like environment '%SAPDATA<n>%\ ...' or too many/few subdirectories!
Press <return> to continue...
What is the problem?
Hello,
Can the case be a problem? drp is not the same than DRP. But I think on a Windows system this should be no problem.
Regards
Gregor

Hello again,
I don't know, may be yes. I will stop the system and recreate the related folders and the path in msdos mode, than copy the data file to that place. I hope this works. If it doesn't, then there is one thing left to do, and that is trying to create the data file using Oracle DBA Studio.
Best regards.
