Dear All,
I have the following doubts.
Suppose client 400 is not modifiable.
Now If I want change some object then I have to open the 400 client, so in SCC4, I will select the below option
"Changes w/o automatic recording, no transport allowed".
After that, some time, if I will try to change object immediately after opening client then it shows Clint is not modifiable.
After 1 minute or from other session of same client if tried then it allow to change.
What is the reason ?
Thanks in advance,
Nirav

You can do an SQL trace and check how long is it taking to do the modifications. At the end of the day the system is opening and you have no errors.

Hello Juan,
Thanks for your reply.
This is not related to slow DB.
It is taking time to take effect of client modification from "Not modifiable" to "Modifiable" with existing session.
This time is in miniut only not more than that,
The steps I follow as under.
Presnet Status : Client not modifiable.
1. SPRO -> Material Group created in MM
2. It gives message Cleint 400 is not modifiable.
3. I open the cleint 400 thru SCC4
4. After that on another session if I tiry to do same i.e. SPRO -> Material Group created in MM.
again it gives me message Cleint 400 is not modifiable.
5. After some time ( say 1 minute) or by opening new session if try to do same thing it will allow me to do.
So my question is after saving transaction in SCC4 it takes some to take effect ? why ?
Thanks,
Nirav

See wen you open the client just logout and thentry to login.
There are Name tab object thet are also set for the sap Object. So always also check the settings in Se06 if your client is modifiable or not.you can ristrict the object at patch level.
and there is no one minite time after that it shall reflect.
Thanks
