Catalog selection in ALV screen during results recording

Dear Experts,

For our project, we are developing a WD application for doing Results recording through Webdynpro URL. The set of parameters are displayed through BAPI. In these parameters, there are two types, one is quantitative where we will be entering values and another is qualititative where we cannot enter the values, but have to select the code from a selected set through F4 option, which is maintained as a master and assigned in inspection plan.

Now the requirement is while doing results recording through WD, the system should allow the user to select the relevant code. If anybody has idea or already have worked on this, please suggest me the solution.

You mean the F4 option field should be enabled right when running through WD.

Is it a standard one....

Can you be more clear.

Thank you for the reply.

But it is not the standard F4 functionality. It is predefined selected set maintained plant specific. It is a QM Master maintained as Codes and code groups. It varies from material to material and lot to lot. For better understanidng of these code group, you pls have a look into T.Code QS51, if possible.
