Hi,
We see problem with processes running with out any transaction in SM66,suddenly all processes will be in running mode
During this time, the system will be very slow(halt for a while)
Please let me know the workaround for this problem
Thanks,
Kumar
The data in the Workload Monitor (Transaction ST03N) can be used as follows to identify the area of the system where the problem is located.
Analysis work flow .
Work process in status u2018runningu2019 and Action Direct Read, Sequential read, Insert, Update, Delete, Commit. u2013 Analyze Database
Work process in status u2018runningu2019 and Action load program u2013 Program buffer too small
Need to increase parameter "pxa pragram buffer"
Work process in status u2018runningu2019 and Action rollin /rollout u2013 Extended memory or roll buffer analysis needed.
Work process in status u2018stoppedu2019 and reason u2018privu2019 u2013 Detail analysis for memory, issue with extended memory or roll buffer.
Work process in status u2018stoppedu2019 and reason u2018cpicu2019- Problem with CPIC connection. The remote systemu2019s all work process may
be in use.
You can get these param's needed in st02 transaction.

Sanjeev

Reduce the number of dialog and background workprocess. Either through emergency operation mode or through profile. With this the load can be reduced on your system and will not halt as you mention. I am assuming the database and app server are in different boxes.

Check your SM50 at that time.
