Connection Failed ; Login Failed for user 'sa'

Hi,

I'm using SAP Business One 2007B, and MS SQL 2005.

From Today Morning, Server is Not Connecting to the Database Stating the Error:

Connection Failed :

SQL State: '28000'

SQL Server Error: 18456

[Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server] Login failed for user 'sa'

kindly guide me to solve the Problem

Hi

i have found same error " failed to login user 'sa'  when i want to print tax report, but the causes is i've re-install my SBO client and i didn't install my addons

and the solution is :

     1.  Close SBO Program

     2. go to Directory : C\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\AddOns\MEB\xx-AddOn

     3. Double Klik on file CRRedist2005_x86 (red box)

     4. open by Notepad File Setting (black box), change password with “sa”

     5. copy file that user needed in this library (for example my file on blue box)

Do you mean it has been working fine until the problem happened? Have you done any updating for the server?

Hi,

It looks like you have not given permissions to that user in the SQL Server instance.

If you are using windows authentication Check with sql authentication.

Hi!

Please Read the Error Log File which will be in

SQL Installation Path > MS SQL > MS-SQL1 > LOG > Error LOG

Search that error message in Google and paste the same here too.
