Return Code -10

Hi All,

I am able to login to SAP at one of our clients using VPN and the GUI . But on my laptop upon successfully connecting to VPN , i am not able to login to SAP because of of the Return Code-10 error .I cant understand how the server cannot be reached only from my laptop . Can there be anything in Windows or VPN which might be blocking the connection. Any help would be highly appreciated.

FYI - Am running Windows XP , GUI 7.10

Hi Sandeep,

I do not think, there is something which might be 'blocking' the sapgui connection even after successful VPN connection.

1. You may try once to disable the windows firewall of your laptop and then check the connection

2. Once try to re-install SAPgui

3. Or, try to patch SAPgui to latest patch level, I guess it's available above 11 now

4. Sometimes, very low speed internet connection wouldn't allow the connection to work (which I have suffered with VPN and sapgui)
