Hi All,
I wanted to give access to a particular user for su01 transaction. I have followed the following steps
1. Went to su24 and found the Authorization objects required for transaction su01 and all their values
2. Created a new role in pfcg individual role and added the authorization objects with the right values
I am still not able to give the user the right Authorization for accessiing su01
Am i missing somethng somewhere..
Please advice

Hello Aditya,
As you have already created role, do following.
1. Go to PFCG
2. Open the role in change mode
3. Go to menu tab
4. Add the transaction Su01 to role via button "Transaction"
5. Go to Authorization tab
6. Click on button "Change authorization data"
7. Maintain all authorization to green (Full auth if required)
8. Generate Role.
9. Go to user tab.
10. Do user compare.
Now you can access SU01.

Abhay

It is not advisable to create a new role for every single transaction access required.
First check if there is already a role containing su01 via suim and if don't find or still new role needs to be created, then i guess a particular transaction can be added directly too to a role ?
Or, our friends in security forum should be help you more
