activation form or print prog

Hi all,

I have made changes in the smartform text.I have not touched related print program.

When i do the same changes in smartform text on production server,

activation of smatform is must. After activating smartform

should i also activate print programe in se38 or no need to do this.

Hi Ravi Kumar,

There is no need to activate the PRINT PROGRAM as you made changes only in the SMARTFORM, just make sure that everything in the smartform is activated and then proceed.

Hi,

There is NO NEED to activate the program which calls the smartform. The program only calls the Function Module generated for the smartform. When the smartform is activated Function Module gets genererated which the program can call.

Just smartform activation is required.

just cross check the generated FM of the smartform with the FM in the print program you have used.

Once you activate the smartform, the corresponding funciton module will get activated automatically. so no need for activating the print program.

no need of actvation of print programm if you have done any chnages in form , you can activate only smartform...
