How to activate from customizing the planning element indicator in WBS?

Anybody can explain me how to activate from customizing the planning element indicator in WBS???

Hi

You are probably refering to setting the planning element indicator automatically in all the WBS elements. You may have to create a substitution rule and set the planning indicator automaticallly on saving.

Hi,

It is not possible through OBO8, it is for Integrated Planning

The best way for Planning Indicator is by Maintaining Substitution.

Your Prequisite will be PROJ-PROFL

Substituiton will be Planning element with Constant Value as X

Activate WBS element plan integration in the following path

SPRO> PS> Costs_> Planned costs>MAnual cost planning> Activate WBS element plan integration

Hi

You cannot get the By default "Planning Element" checked like what we can do for "Acct. assignment Element". However you can do Cost Planning for WBS without checking the Planning Element.

Go to OPSB - "T Code for Planning Profile". In that you check the Planning Element Check Box. If you assign this planning profile to any project you can do Cost Planning for WBS without even checking the Planning Element.
