Is there a way to get the ROOT DIRECTORY for the FTP server using a File/FTP Sender adapter ? My client is scared of custom modules and would like us to get the absolute path for the source directory in the File/FTP Sender adapter.
Even if I use Dynamic Config, it will fetch the Directory as "host:port" while the source dir configured in the FTP server could be "
host\rootdir\". The FTP admin is willing to setup an environment variable on the FTP server but there is no way for us to fetch the value into the header.
Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think it's possible to fetch the environment variable without using any customized code at the adapter level. If it is possible, I would like to know
