Universe to Infoview

Hello, I am new to Business Objects and working on BO XI 3.1..Universe Designer : 12.1. I created a universe off a BI query. I then exported it to CMS. I then went into Infoview where I saw My Favorites, Documents List etc. How can I view the universe here? I know I can go to Webi and build a report there but someone told me that I can go and directly create a report in infoview. Is it true ? If so, can someone tell me what do I need to do at this point?

Hi,

you can create a WebI report from within the InfoView. Just go to your "My Favorites" folder and selkect New->Web Intelligence Document. If this entry is not available please make sure that you have the rights to create a WebI reports on your BOBJ system.

ahhh...I think that's probably where I am having an issue because I don't see Web Intel. doc option. The only options I have are:

Hyperlink

Infoview Page Layout

Publication

Analytic

Category

Folder

I will check the auth.
