Local Client Copy

Hi,

I have small question.Very recently i have done system copy production to Quality server.

Iin my QA i have client 300 and i want to make a copy of 320(prd client) with new client 300 in the same quality server(local Client copy).

with SAP_ALL profile.Whole DB size is around 160GB.

it is taking long time to copy(since one day still its running) its 4gb ram.

In scc3 iam getting some warning :

- No. of Tables (Total) 14.724 of 33.485

Upto now this no of tables copied,still its running but below its showing in scc3.

Hello,

As per what you have mentioned, you are doing local client copy from client 300 to client 320 (Please correct if I am wrong).

This client 300 you got in QA system after system copy from Production.

You have created client 320 as new client or it was existing client and you are overwritting it with data from client 300?

In this case, it will take time (data overwritting).

As per your logs from SCC3, its giving warning....so you can wait.

As you have done system copy, have you updated DB stats before starting client copy.

this is main problem most of the time with long running client copies.

Please update DB stats. This will help.

yes, you can wait, just keep an eye on sm21 and tablespaces

Thanku,before the client copy i didnt done update dbstats.The tables are now proceed what i getted in warning yesterday.

Now in scc3 its showing like this :

For this in SM21 its showing : Database error 25153 at SEL access to table JEST.

In Status its showing Successfully Completed.but below its showing like this.Is it SuccessFully Compled or i have to do any thing.
