SLD server not running

I'm on my way to configure the solution manager, except now.

I'm getting a message, that the sld server is not running.

How can I solve the Problem.

Hi Kias,

Have you configured the Local SLD in the Solution manager? or its connecting to other SLD server?.

If you are planning to have local. Please configure the SLD by using the Automatic setup of solution manager by running the Template Installer in SAP Netweaver Administrator or if you are in EHP1:by following the below link:

TXN: solman_setup->Initial configuration->SLD Configuration.

Thinks for replying.

I'm actually having the SOLMAN EHP1.

Well, I run the SOLMAN_SETUP followed the instruction and I was required to start the local SLD server.

But, is not running. "503 Service Unavailable"

So, I used SLDCHECK and some other transactions to find the Problem.

I findout that the RFC-Connection is missing.

What I actually don't know is how to specifiy the settings, when I'll create the RFC-Connection.

Hi,

RFCs will be created when the setup is running and is through.

In your case the SLD setup is not complete yet.

If you have just installed the system : please take care of the post installation steps and if required you can configure SLD by using the NWA manually.

Hi Jagad,

I checked the guide of post-Installation and even the SAP notes 943498, 764417.

But there's no useful information to let me start the SLD server.

I'm getting this following information when the sld server start.

SAP WebAS Engine is starting...

If this state does not change within a few minutes,

please contact your system administrator.

Check the recommendations in SAP Notes: 943498, 764417

Message: Dispatcher running but no server connected!

Details: No details available

Actually, I already use MOPZ and don't really want or need to do the solution manager initial configuration.

Well, Java Stack doesn't seem to be up !

ok, you have already gone through those two Notes, did you find anything from the logs ?
