line item order details

please clarify this experts

i have an order with 3 line items and suppose say that 2 line items have 2 delivers created and the last item is still not referenced.

1)what do we say this kind of order ? is it open order or partially referenced order or both?

2)from which table we can know which line item has been referenced and which is still not referenced?

3)where and in which field we will maintain the complete order reference ie one order and one delivery not each line item to seperate delivery need to be created?

This is the Partially reference order

The main difference between the OPEN & PARTIALLY REFERENCED ORDER is in OPEN order all the items are not delivered, but in PARTIALLY delivered order, some of the line items may have delivered

Unless and until they are fully reference they are partiall orders

In the Table VBUP for line items you can find the status of he item, the Field BESTA

This is in the COPY CONTROL from the ORDER TO DELIVERY in transaction code VTLA in the item category in the field ITEM DATA.

n the Table VBUP for line items we can find the status of the item, the Field BESTA

the BESTA can have status like

Not Relevant

A Not yet processed

B Partially processed

C Completely processed

do the item can be partially processed?

please tell me what is meant by not relevant or partially processed.

Hi

Partially processed is not relevent for you. Take a case of milestone billing or contract..in those cases line item might be partially processed.

Item can be partially processed ,suppose if a Batch of 100 MTS is there and you want to deliver only 20 MTS then the order status of particular Line Item will be partially processed.

A: Its Partially referenced.

A: Check VBAP and VBFA tables

A: Setting in customer master for single delivery only.

In the copy control, Tcode VTLA, u need to check update document flow..
