Hi all,
Im having a serious issue with one of our print server which run on sapsprint.
Recently the printserver hang and when i check on the add remove programs (Windows 2003) it shows that sapsprint is 2.4GB.
Any idea what happened? Kindly advice. Any way we can trace what causes this high utilization.
Hi,
I do not know what the is the normal size of sapsprint.
My intuition says that 2.4GB is quite big for a printprogam like this.
I checked on the ittoolbox and there they say (quoted)
"The simple answer is DO NOT install this on your server. Windows
already has a built in LPD print service. Use it instead of sapsprint."
But if you want to use it i would say delete and reinstall
success, Frank

Hi,
One input, check the spool, maybe it has many spoolrequests in waiting or completed status. Delete them all.
