Userexit_pricing_rule , need to redetermine only 1 cond type during invoice

Pricing experts,

We have a scenario where we want to re-determine only 1 of 7 condition types during the invoice process (VF01). We are using pricing type 'D' in copy control which is copy prcing elements unchanged. We have subsequently configured the 1 condition type to have condition category 'L' Generally new when copying (KNTYP). Pricing type D will not redetermine KNTYP = L. So we have gone into include RV61AFZA in form Userexit_pricing_rule. I have introduced some logic to set steu-kntyp = 'L........' for knprs = 'D. I assumed this would change the behavior to redetermine condition categories = L per oss note 24832. However, the condition is still copying in and not being redetermined. Am i missing a step or a setting? Any help appreciated.

After a debug session of SAP logic, I determined PRSQU = '.' was impaacting me. Clearing this value for price source has solved my issue.
