sd: sales order message

Hi all,

I'm working on an interface develop to update the sales order informations in sap.

through this interface some data are passed from an old system to sap.

after I run this interface I always get this message

The header business data does not apply to item 000010.

Can you help me and explain what it means?

Hello,

Please check the interface field mapping into SAP system.

As per my knowledge there is some field mapping went wrong.

Hi,

I dont see this as an issue. You will not have any issues in processing the order. In fact this message should be an information message.

This kind of message appears when dealing with VBKD fields for example Paymnet terms, Price list types. Sales HEader Paymnet terms might come from CM, but item paymnet terms might come from pricing condition record or any other parameters. Also same might be the case with price list type. Sales Header and Sales item might have different price list types. This should be ok to go ahead and save the order.
