DE-activating info object version

Hi,

I have install, activated some infoproviders from Business Content, as a result some of the older infoobjects version(e.g. 0costcenter) were "overwrittened" by a newer version.

Is there a way to remove these new version of infoobjects, rather than changing the version (modified, revise, active) through the info object maintenance screen.

We're currently having this exact issue. Did you find a resolution or does anyone have any ideas?

Why do you want to revert back to older version. I dont see a harm in keeping the new version.

It's a transport issue when other developers might unknowingly transport the newer version, thinking it's ok to transport the newer version and choosing the newer, revised version.
