I have new Dell Desktop with XP SP3. When i am trying to install SAP GUI 7.10, it is going upto 8% and gets disappeared and installation gets aborted.
Please help me.

You can try taking a look at the setup log files. Default location is <drive>:\Program Files\SAP\SapSetup\LOGs
There is a file called NwSapSetup.log. In there, you should be able to see why it is failing or what is causing a problem.

Hi,
I have gone through the Log file already but not able to find what exactly is the reason for installation failure. The error message " Unknown Error occured in setup script (0x80004005), No error description available. (Line 86, Col. 2)".

Well, you might want to re-install with re-downloaded SAPgui setup file
