Schedule of bulk transport in order with one job : single job option

Former Member

Hi guy

somtimes we get 100 odd transports to be schedule for import in given

order in our quality and production systems

I do not want to do any task of this from os .

I am not sure if I select block of requests with F6 ,what order they

will get transported within single job at scheduled time

I can not create 100 odd jobs with some time difference in between

those

I also do not wnat to use import all option as there will be selected 100 TR's given by customer

I tried to select 100 in one block and then schedule for import but not sure on the order in which they will be imported

I also know that for import in group ,one step for all Tr is completed first and then next step and in this way

My problem is only which TR will be taken first to execute the first step

Please let me know the best practice in this case

Thanks in advance

-Ganesh

There is no standard SAP way we have heard of, which makes mass transports in an order.

you have to have either schedule them with a little time gap in each or do them manually, as already discussed

HI ,

In case of transport in order .. you have to do it manually only.. That is Best Practice.

There is no way to import in "mass and order" as per my knowledge .

If you find any solution please let me know too.

In my opinion the best practice is to do it manually 😄

Beside that, theres lots of threads and info on SDN that talk about bulk/mass transports...
