Hi Gurus,
I am doing milestone billing and the scenario for Billing Plan is as follows :
Downpayment - 10%
Design ( milestone ) - 40%
Installation ( milestone ) - 60%
Closing Invoice -0
The above values work to 110% but the percentage field show as as 100% only.
If I change the second milestone value from 60% to 50%, I get a closing invoice with value equal to 10% which again makes it 110% ( 104050+10) though the percentage field shows as 100%
Please clarify why is it so.
Thanks & Regards,
Gobind.
Hi,
In this process,it will deduct the downpayment amount automatically when you process it.
So 10% will be distributed to the remianing things.
So it will not consider that extra 10% and it will be equal to 100% only.
Regards,
Krishna.

Hi,
The process is ok.
When you do the billing of design or installation.
System will propose the down payment amount over there.
It will neglect that amount from the total amount.
In design it will be option whether you want to settle down payment or not.
But at the time of installation it will automatically deduct the down payment amount.

Raj.

HI
This is because
Downpayment - 10%
Design ( milestone ) - 40%
Installation ( milestone ) - 60%
Closing Invoice -0
Downpayment 10% is setting down with Design & Installation. There is no existance of Dwonpayment once subsequent billing has been done. Kindly check the FI documents carefully such that 10% amount of downpayment got settled in further invoices.
Hence
Downpayment - 10%
Design ( milestone ) - 40% - 5%
Installation ( milestone ) - 60% - 5%
Closing Invoice -0
Downpayment - 10%
Design ( milestone ) - 40% - 5%
Installation ( milestone ) - 50% -5%
Closing Invoice -10%
