"Notify Recipient" in SRM7

Hello everybody,

I just would like to know what is the functionality of the Central Functions "Notify Recipient" in SRM 7 ?

When I click on it, I arrive on a sheet "Find Purchase Orders" without other explication.

Are you talking about "Confirmation" or "Alert"?
