Vendor's range number correction ? :-(

Hi guys,

I have all my vendors created with an internal number assignment, so the vendor id in R3 is not equal to my SRM vendor id.

What implications do you see if I define a new vendor's number range according to R3 ?

Thanks for your help !

Regards,

Diego

Hi Diego,

If you have already replicated vendor before adding new external number range, you will then be able to replicate new vendors with R/3 codification but former one will keep SRM internal numbers.

Kind regards,

Hi Yann,

Mmm. ok.. just one question, the old vendors (internal number assigned) will not be created again with the new range number right ?

Diego

Hi Diego,

There is an "Address Comparison to Identify Duplicates" flag that you have in BBPGETVD.

I didn't tested it but should avoid this.

You can test it on a single vendor in your dev system.

Hi Diego,

What's the issue with internal number range ?

Except if your user know by hart the R/3 supplier number instead of searchning it when necessary, i do not see any problem .

Please confirm

Kind regards,

Yann
