Partial UD

Dear All,

i used a MIC with long term inspection characteristics in the inspection lot. used inspection type 01. i created a inspection lot on 28/08/09 and made the UD on the same day. today when i try to change the results using QE02 it says UD has made. I thought if long term inspection characteristics used in MIC even the UD made results can be changed. is my understanding wrong? cant i change results recording if the UD made? do i necessarily have to cancel the lot?

Hi

Even if you have used the Long term inspection for the MIC & you have taken UD...if the status of the lot is not LTIN ,then RR can not be done after UD.

simplest reason is that You have forcefully completed the inspection.

Only way is to now reverse the UD or cancel the UD by applying the UserExit or SAP Note.

Cancelling the lot will not help

Dear Sujit,

No i did not forcefully complete the inspection characteristics. i used in MIC, single results and optional characteristics. is it something to do with the date difference?

Hi

The reason is MIC is optional.So system has not shown you LTIN status for the lot after UD.

Char must not be optional.It must be Required.

I hope you got the solution.
