Problem in printing Border in Smart Form in DMP printer

Hi ,

Im facing the same issue in my Smartform . When the user prints through ALV it prints the border ,

But if we use the same printer for Smartform it does not print the borders in Dot Matrix .

I did increase the width from 15 TW to 30 TW but even then the Table Border is not printing .

Can someone please help me with the same

Hi Juhi,

In smartforms, for the window node, select 'output options' tab and select the check box 'Lines With' under Box & Shading.

This may solve your issue.

Hi Sujatha,

It is a template and table with horizontal and vertical lines..the same is being displayed in Print Preview and being printed on a Laser printer. but it is not getting displayed on a DOT Matrix printer.

Hi Juhi,

I believe, Dot Matrix printer is for pre-printed Docs, so except charaters in the form, nothing will be printed, where as in case of laser printer, A4 paper is nt a pre-printed format.

I think this might be the case in ur issue.

Sujatha , dot matrix can be used to print data on a non preprinted stationary .

I think need to contact printer Admin for this,

The scope in SAP you are through, so you need to ask Dot Matrix printer Admin.
