hello experts,
I have to use jdbc sender adapter, sender database is MS access. It is an existing application I have asked th eteam to add another column like XI_read to serve as a change indicator..
is that sufficient?
for MS access as the XI is installed on windows..i dont have to install the drivers right?
and it will be sending abt 2000 reords ever morning, im worried abt the performance
can u share ur thoughts pls
Regards,
Teja
Hey,
>and it will be sending abt 2000 reords ever morning, im worried abt the performance
No problem, Performance will not be impacted at all.

Teja,
As said by ahijit you dont need to specially install drivers for this integration because Sun's JdbcOdbcDriver comes by default with sdk. Since you already requested for an additional column, this would be easy for updating the records once when xi pick up. 2000 should be very well ok, becasue it is not that higher load.
Also see this threads where you have some more useful information:

Hi Teja
Yes, we don't need to deploy ms access drivers in XI server.
By default Xi server supports ms access database.
Performance of ms access is similar to other database...so it can send your 2000 records ...
