Storage bin functionality with F4

Hello!

I would like to ask why during for example Transfer Order there is no functionality to SELECT the storage bin from dropdown list (with F4 button) but you have to write it down.

Is there any enhancement, note?

Hi Landra

If i understood your question properly then your question is why there is no drop down box in the transfer order storage bin field.

As far as i know there is no enhancement available also selection of storage bin in a transfer order is based on certain strategies defined in the img it is not advisable to go for this type of configuration

Hello,

As per the WM process storage bins are selected with the following strategies.

1.Storage type search

2.Storage section search.

3.Putaway strategies

4.Picking strategies.

Basic purpose of implementing WM is to system find the bin with storage type automatically as per the capacity & straegies maintained for storage type. Hence there is no dropdown to find bin.

If you provide drop down to select bin then the whole purpose of WM fails.
