Pre-requisite for Developer Studio

I'm a newbie on Developer Studio.

What are the pre-requisites to install this s/w?

Is there an install guide I can go through?

Any pointers would be extremely appreciated.

Hope u can download the studio. If you want to look at the installationi guide look inthe SAP marketplace.

I have one other question,

Should this studio be installed on a windows server so multiple developers can login to the same server and do the development?

Hi,

NWDS should be installed on all the developer machines.[Not in a central server]

Only prerequisite I know for installation of Developer Studio is to have JDK to be installed on your machine and JAVA_HOME environment variable pointing to the root folder of JDK installation.

Where do I specify this variable.

One thing I observed at install time, it wanted to me to provide the reference directory path for JDK. I guess that may do the trick.

Is there any other place I should look at?
