How do we add an attribute to an Infoobject which does not have one.

Please help

Hi Rvn,

Go to transaction RSD1 and put in the name of the InfoObject to which you need to add attributes and click on Maintain button. First check if there is an attribute tab visible, if no then go to the Master Data/Texts tab and place check mark for With Master Data. Then you can go to the Attribute tab and type in the name of the InfoObject you need to set as an attribute. You can further decide if this is navigational or not, or if it has to be time dependant. Save and Activate.

hi,

first create the attribute infoobject,

then rsd1, type in your infoobject to be added with attribute, 'edit', go to tab 'attribute', type in the attribute infoobject.

in case the infoobject has reference to other infoobject,

you have to add this attribute infoobject from the reference infoobject.
