Hi,
I want to increase the size of a Code39 barcode in my smartform.
I defined the maximum of 10 for the Narrow Module Width, but it is not enough.
How can I enlarge it?
I followed sap note 706743 but nothing changed.
These are my complete barcode settings:
SAP Bar Code Name YTESTSOE
Bar Code Symbology Code 39
Bar Code Alignment Normal
Narrow Module Width 10
Linear Height 01000
Mod-43 Check Digit X
Bar Ratio 20
Thanks in advance

4.Press YES for POPUP
5.Select CODE39 Bar code Radiobutton and press enter
6.then Press Yes for another POPUP (Select another Alignment Currently normal)
7.Select Normal Radiobutton and press Enter
8. Then provide : Narrow Module Width
Linear Height -
Provide your required height
Mod-43 Check Digit
Bar Ratio
and press enter
9.Select that Barcode and execute it for testing.

Hello MR Venkat
thank you for your detailed description.
The problem is that I already set the maximum size (10) for Narrow Module Width which defines the width of the barcode.
There is a description in SAP note 706743 to double the size of a bar code but unfortunately it doesn't work.

HI,
If you have created CHARACTER FORMAT in Smartstyle For Barcode. Goto the Font tab in that Smartstyle, increase the size of the font of that particular CHARACTER FORMAT.
It worked for me..
Try this..

HI Steiner,
Could you confirm, In the SMARTSTYLES
- Have you used any FONT FAMILY ( I used : ANDALE_T)
- Have you changed the FONT SIZE in the SMARTSTYLES Character formats (eg: C1 ) of BARCODE in the FONT tab
Eg: I used Font Size as 20 PT
In the SMARTFORM,
- Can you check the same Character formats (Eg: C1) has been used in the GENERAL ATTRIBUTES of the TEXT in the SMARTFORM which you are printing.
- Have you used SMARTSTYLE in your SMARTFORM.
For this, Goto->Main window in smartform->Click on the TEXT Which you are using for the Barcode->Output Options tab->Check whether SMARTSTYLE has been given here.
Eg: I used Smartstyle as ZTEST_R.
Hope it will help...
Regards,
Raghu
Yes as already said I use a smartstyle with a font and a fontsize for the barcode. I also definied this smartstyle in my smartform.
When I change a character format for another textfield it works, for the barcode it works also but it does not increase the barcode size.
