Hi
When an attribute value is changes in PPOMA_BBP we need to be able to see which user has performed the change, what was the old value and what is the new value. Is there a log table in standard SAP?
If not - does anyone know which BADI or function module to enhance with own developed log functionality?
Thanks,
Jacob Stisen
Hello Jacob,
For a fast overview of attributes modifications done in PPOMA_BBP transaction, look at HRP1222 and HRT1222 tables.
For a more efficient method, read Kathirvel Balakrishnan's article:
[How to log organization attribute changes in mySAP SRM|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/e0b2abcd-6b56-2c10-f6b3-bb37323cd14b&overridelayout=true]
Regards.

Hi Jacob,
The creation of change documents for Personnel Planning infotypes is based on the SAP Change Document solution (transaction SCDO).
The report RHCDOC_DISPLAY displays the change documents created for changes made to Personnel Planning infotypes.
The following infotypes are SRM specific.
5500 EBP Function
5501 EBP Product Responsibility
5502 EBP Location
5503 EBP Order Values Limits
These infotypes were not prepared for creation of change documents in previous releases. The consequence was that the customer was forced to perform the following steps to enable the creation of change documents (similar for customer-specific infotypes).
1. Prepare Infotype Fields
2. Create a Change Document Class
3. Create Document Object Class
4. Enter Infotype in Table T77CDOC
5. Activate Infotype for Creation of Change Documents
6. Test Creation of Change Documents
For detailed information please have a look into the SAP Documentation:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2004/helpdata/en/60/d8d8c7576311d189270000e8322f96/frameset.htm
In SRM 7.0 the required settings will be delivered by SRM so the customer does not need to perform the mentioned steps above any longer. Only exception is point 5 (Activate Infotype for Creation of Change Documents. The system performance deteriorates when too many infotypes are activated for creation of change documents.
The customer should only activate the creation of change documents for the combination of plan version, object type, and infotype/subtype for which the customer require this function.
The customer will have the opportunity to activate the creation of change documents for the SRM specific infotypes or not.
Best regards,
Marco
