Hello All ,
we have WM_HU managed material , without any batch management and with batch management
In one of the instances ,IM stocks are say 320 and WM stocks say 340 and found to correct
i,e WM stocks and HU stocks are equal and correct and stock at the IM level need to be corrected
we have seen the OSS note 660009 which suggests us to create new movement type by copying 701 and then use MB11 with debug mode
Is there any other possiblity like ,If our client doesnt want to go for new movement types
Awarded full points for the right answer
Thanks in advance

Hi,
There's a high risk workaround to solve this issue.
If you can guarantee that NO stock posting to the plant/s.loc concerned happens during a certain period of time, you can:
1) temporarily remove the warehouse assignment to the plant/s.loc
2) adjust IM stock level by MB11
3) reassign warehouse to plant/s.loc
To my best knowledge, there's no other way round. You can also escalate this to SAP for a more reliable solution.

Hello,
Try WM physical inventory procedure for BIN.
T-code Lx16--> Check bin status with LI04>Enter the count LI11N ->LI20->LI21
If you are not succesful then escalate the issue to SAP
Thanks

Hi ,
if we do the physical inventory at the Bin level ,Stocls would remain same at the IM and wM level since after clearing the differences ,Same status IM and WM stocks would acquire so practically this option wouldnt work
only option proposed by SAP is SAP Note 660009
where different case are listed , we need to create new movement types and further debug is needed
Thanks for the reply any way
Warm regards

Hi,
If you are sure that WM stocks are correct, you can use LX23.
Pay attention to following when youdecide to use LX23:
1- There should be no stock movements.
2- First do not check "Clear Differences" checkbox.
3- If it really reports some differences, then execute again with the "Clear differences" checked.
As a result the system will adjust the MM stocks with reference to WM stocks.
But, I should warn you again, that LX23 must be carefully used.

Osman

Thanks for the updates ,
We have raised this with SAP through OSS message and they came out with only available option of applying Note 660009
where creation of new movement types is involved but still the problem wouldnt be solved
while exectuting furrther transactions debug is needed here
SAP Asked us fro production access after we have created new movement types later developers would be asked to update via debug
Funtionally this would be impossible otherwise
Seems to be bug in SAP for WM HU managed stocks
Thanks and regards
