unable to receive mail from sap

Hi Guru

user is unable to receive the mail from sap system please find the error message as given below u2018Definitely cannot transfer message to node SMTP due Connection error u2018Error Number u2018816u2019. Same user was able to receive the mail from SAP system. As I have already checked the SCOT for SMTP connection.There is no issue in the SMTP connection.

Please help us to resolve the above issue.

Hi ,

If i am not wrong you are talking about OUTBOUND mail configuration.In case of outbound config you have to open the port at your exchecnge server .Please check with your network team if this port has been opened.

Also check if you have maintained default domain in SCOT.You can take further help from below link::

we maintained default domain in SCOT and we have checked the SMTP connection.

There is no issue with the SMTP Connection.

same user has able to receive mail from different distribution list.

Please help us to reslove the above issue.
